Originally we would like to visit the Alhambra in Granada. But we recognize quickly, that in Andalusia is so much more to discover. So we choose for our second camping-van-trip Flamenco Campers.

At the end of September we flew to Malaga where Gonzalo picked us up and delivered us Manuela, a T4 in her best years and really good condition and also very tidy.

We recognized during our instruction, that Gonzalo really loves camping and his campers. Manuela was well prepared, with everything you need on a relaxed trip. You felt the fascination of camping vans in every small detail (e.g. WV-camper-tableware). He provides us also many useful tips and cards to find our own way through Andalusia.

After some refreshments, we started to visit the Caminito del Ray and the National Park around and used our flexibility for some rests. Our way leads us also in the beautiful City Ronda. We stayed at Camping El Sur, a small campsite a little bit outside of Ronda. We can only suggest this small and calm place and stayed one night longer and enjoyed the time in this beautiful landscape.

We passed some more white villages and spotted out Sevilla and enjoyed the spirit and tapas there. Afterwards we decided to relax at the lovely beaches in and around the National Park Donana before we moved on to discover Cordoba.

We are really impressed of the Mezquinta, the small streets, shops, tapas bars, flowers and the flair of the north. Our way to Granada leads us through various olive groves, many castles, various and nice landscapes and finally ends at Camping Las Lomas in the Sierra Nevada, as starting and also relaxation point for Granada. Las Lomas is a small and lovely campsite with an awesome view on a barrier lake and Granada as well as beautiful sunsets.

You can take a bus directly into the city and discover the variety and awesome places (Alhambra, Hammam, Albaicin, Generalife,..), people, food and flair of this overwhelming city. With a lot of impressions we spend our last days at the Alboran Sea, visit Nerja and relaxed at the beaches.

Thanks Gonzalo for this beautiful time in Andalusia and make it so enjoyable. We can only suggest to discovering Andalusia in this way with Flamenco Campers.

You can go wherever you want, stay as long as you want, eat when you are hungry and sleep and relax when finally the energy runs out. So we will come back to discover more.
