Hiring a campervan from Flamenco Campers and exploring Andalusia proved to be an excellent decision.
After arrival we experienced a very warm welcome by Gonzalo who provided us with many helpful tips and hints. Thanks to these recommendations our trip developed to a full success.
We learned that Andalusia offers a wide variety of places worth to be visited from larger cities such as Granada with world famous Alhambra or Cadiz to smaller cities and villages in the Sierras (Ronda, Grazalema, Zahara de la Sierra, Arcos de la Frontera), embarrassing coastal areas both on the Atlantic and Mediterranean side respectively. Using Manuela campervan allowed us to make short time decisions and to choose between walks or guided tours in natural parks (we even spotted three linx in Doñana National Park), town visits or recreative beach days.
As our holidays were not in the high season pre-booking of campsites was never necessary and there was always the possibility to choose a suitable site on the campgrounds.
This was for sure an experience we do not want to miss and which has to be considered again in future days. There is still a lot more to explore.
